Marine
Direct Mold
A direct mold built with robotic large-format additive manufacturing, developed together with Freeman Boatworks.
The result is shorter lead times and design freedom conventional tooling can’t reach, applied to the demanding standards of high-performance offshore vessels. A first look at what additive brings to marine production, on display at IMTS.
Automotive
Lamination Mold
Duqueine worked with Caracol to produce direct molds via large format advanced manufacturing (LFAM) used to laminate the carbon fiber engine cover of its D09 LMP3 racing car, cutting both lead times and costs compared to traditional tooling.
Aerospace
Pressurized tank
WAAM technology produced a pressurized aluminum tank for carrier satellites that deploy CubeSats into orbit, developed with D-Orbit and Politecnico di Milano. MIG-based wire arc deposition and proprietary 8-axis software enabled complex custom geometries without traditional tooling constraints.
Creative
3D Bar
The world’s first bar entirely 3D printed by a robotic system, showcasing how design and technology can merge to create stunning, sustainable architecture. Made from recycled materials, it stands as a symbol of circular production and innovative, eco-conscious creativity.
Energy
Neck Flanges
The multi-material neck flanges produced with Vipra AM combine Inconel 625 in high-stress, high-corrosion areas with ER70S steel elsewhere. This balances strength, corrosion resistance and cost, delivering parts built to withstand the extreme pressures and temperatures of oil platforms, subsea systems and high-temperature piping.
