Job opportunities As a Technical Project Engineer, you will play an active role in shaping Caracol’s advanced engineering projects, contributing to the development and implementation of customized, high-impact solutions for complex industrial applications.
Few examples of responsibilities:
- Support the development of technical layouts and engineering documentation
- Translate customer requirements into clear technical deliverables, under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to collect technical data, evaluate feasibility, and ensure component compatibility.
- Prepare and update Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, and other documentation to support installation and commissioning.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing and troubleshooting, especially for non-standard or first-of-kind solutions.
Ideal Background:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 1–3 years of experience in product industrialization.
- Good knowledge of CAD software and mechanical drawing standards.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and assembly methods.
- Familiarity with automation systems and electromechanical components is a plus.
